We have scientific knowledge on the regulation of 24h rhythms and sleep, non-image forming effects of light and other related topics and their role in health and diseases. We are able to perform literature reviews on topics in the fields of chronobiology and sleep, write texts or reports, and advise or teach at different levels (from the lay public – children and adults – to academic and post-academic education).
We perform science driven applied research projects in the fields of chronobiology and sleep regulation in relation to optimizing health, wellbeing and performance. Both laboratory studies, if necessary under time isolation conditions, as well as experimental field studies with humans are our expertise. We either run complete projects or support in collecting or analysing your data.
We have scientific knowledge in the field of chronobiology; the regulation of 24h rhythms and sleep and their role in safety, health and diseases. Taking notice of time, both the time of day and the internal time of a person’s endogenous biological clock is an essential part of optimizing daily life around the 24h day and clinical treatment.
We have expertise in giving lectures and running workshops in the field of human chronobiology; the regulation of 24h rhythms and sleep and their role in health and diseases, for a highly variable audience. We organize tailor made lectures, workshops or courses. On your request we are able to teach on location, at our address or through e-learning.
We have the expertise and the equipment to give advice on the collection of biomarkers in chronobiological studies, and we offer to analyze several biomarkers in saliva, urine or serum samples in our laboratory. In particular we run Radio Immuno Assays (RIA) or Enzyme Immuno assays (ELISA or EIA) for melatonin concentration, 6-sulfatoxy melatonin, and cortisol concentration. For other endocrinology markers, please contact us.
